At Einstein's Workshop, we are looking for people who are passionate about STEAM.

Job Summary

This is a GREAT job for recent college grads, college students, and teachers in need of some fun summer work!

Responsibilities

We have completed hiring for Summer 2024. Please apply in December 2024 to work for us in Summer 2025. Have a great Summer!

  • Will teach camp style classes in the morning and afternoon.
Hours and Logistics
  • Must be available for at least 4 weeks from June 17, 2024, to September 6, 2024, Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM.
  • Hours may vary slightly week to week; shifts will be 7-9 hours/day.
  • Work in person at our Burlington, MA location or potentially at one of our off-site locations in Arlington, Boston, Lexington, or Newton.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some experience instructing groups of children grades K-8.
  • Especially helpful is experience with grades K-2.
  • Infectious enthusiasm that fosters innovation and creativity in kids’ learning.
  • Interest and background in one of the following areas:  science, technology, programming, engineering, math, electronics, digital art.
  • The ability to lift and move materials, up to 20 pounds.
  • Instructors and teaching assistants are required to move around the classroom to engage with students so this job requires being able to stand and move around for at least an hour and fifteen minutes without resting.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
Necessary Skills
  • One to two years of college education in science, technology, engineering, art/design, math, or education, preferred.
  • STEAM experience is helpful, but we are happy to train enthusiastic instructors on our curriculum and technology!
